The scanned information is readily available without the need for integration, allowing for immediate export via email or printing through AirPrint.

• ID cards: All US and Canadian driver’s licenses (via PDF417 scanning on the back of the license)

GS1 Mode empowers healthcare professionals and consumers to scan and interpret GS1 barcodes utilized by hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Medical personnel can scan patient bracelets encoded in the GS1 standard to access vital patient information, as well as scan medications to verify GTIN numbers and expiry dates.

The application adheres to HIPAA compliance standards, ensuring that no personal information is stored post-scanning. All data processing occurs directly on the device, and scanned information is not shared with Scandit or any third parties.
